Your Trusted NVOCC

Derudder Network Ltd

We are proud to be an independant NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), a status that is central to our ability to simplify and secure your global maritime trade.

What we will do for you

Our status as an NVOCC enables us to offer you unique advantages and guarantees

Document Security and Control

This is one of our major strengths. The NVOCC is legally authorised to:
Purchase freight space from shipping companies (the shipowner).
Issue its own transport document, the House Bill of Lading (HBL).
The HBL is Derudder Network’s document, not the shipowner’s. It gives Derudder Network contractual responsibility for the cargo and allows us to ensure complete control over the documentation, reducing the risk of errors and document fraud often encountered when using unregulated agents.

Privacy Protection

As described in our history, our role as an intermediary is crucial for the confidentiality of complex transactions:
By issuing the HBL in our name, we can guarantee the neutrality of cross-trade flows (e.g. China-Africa).
This allows the European shipper (seller) to conceal the identity of their actual supplier based in Asia from their end customer, thereby protecting your strategic business relationships.

Sole Liability

By providing you with our own B/L, Derudder Network is your single point of contact and point of responsibility. You deal with a single partner who is committed to transport, documentation and problem solving, thus simplifying your logistics management.

More than a NVOCC

Choosing Derudder Network means choosing the experience of a company founded in the heart of Asian trade in 1994, with a perfect understanding of the complexity and documentary challenges of containerised freight.

Key Role

We act as an intermediary between shippers (consignors of goods) and shipowners (shipping companies that own ships).

Flexibility and Purchasing Power

By consolidating large volumes of freight with several shipping companies, we benefit from:
Greater flexibility in choosing shipping lines and route options.
Greater bargaining power on rates, offering you competitive prices and tailored solutions even during periods of high market tension.

What is a NVOCC?

The NVOCC is a key player in international maritime transport

  • Simple definition: An NVOCC is a maritime transport company that does not own the ships it uses, but is considered a common carrier in relation to the shipper (you, our customer).
  • Key role: As an NVOCC, we act as an intermediary between shippers (consignors of goods) and shipowners (shipping companies that own ships). We are a ‘carrier without ships’.
